About Me

Hello, I’m Sean Wielusz and I work to demystify education through my work as an Instructional Designer. I am passionate about making education relevant and accessible for all learners. My goal is to advocate for a learner-centered education that considers not only the best applications of andragogical theory for content, but also how students will use it.

After receiving my BS in Secondary Education from Eastern Michigan University, I spent several years working in non-education related management positions. After renouncing the food industry, I went on to work in various roles an instructional designer, corporate trainer, and eLearning designer. In these capacities I worked to develop training curriculum and individual courses, taught both in-person and remotely, develop and produced educational materials such as videos, interactive learning objects, supporting documents and helped manage various learning management systems (LMS).

As part of commitment to my craft, I completed my Masters of Instructional Design and Technology from University of Cincinnati (where I also work as an Instructional Designer) in Spring 2022.

Outside of work and school, I enjoy creating music, playing entirely too much video games, reading entirely too little, and working out an appropriate amount. I currently live in Dearborn, Michigan with my wonderful wife and our four, pretty good, cats.
