Learning The Railroad Track Method
About
The Learning the Railroad Track Method (LRTM) is an interactive learning object made in Articulate Storyline 3 and was initially made as part of the IDT 7120 Tools for Online Learning, class at the University of Cincinnati (UC). This learning object would undergo revisions for the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) course and was the subject of the Master’s Project as well. The version presented is revised version following the guidance of the Evaluation Report.

Reflections
This learning problem has followed me for several years now, dating back to my experiences training Pharmacy Technician students. I had thoughts of how I could do this course for years, given the resources, so when I started the IDT master's program, I thought it would be cathartic to finally develop this training. Little did I realize, that my involvement with the Railroad Track Method would not end with this original project, as it would be the subject of the Evaluation Plan and Evaluation Report for the Master's Project. This initial project, however, had me thinking about students could learn the fundamentals of the RTM and gain meaningful practice that reinforced the order of operations through a technology-mediated learning experience.
